Wir sind seit rund 30 Jahren auf Skye auf die eine oder andere Weise in der Tourismusbranche tätig und werden Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts in Abhaig (pron. Avaig) betreuen.  sind ein vielseitiges 2-köpfiges Team, wir haben immer Zeit für ein Gespräch, wir lieben es, unsere Gäste ein wenig kennenzulernen, und es ist sehr bereichernd zu wissen, dass wir unsere Gäste jeden Tag glücklich machen.  Es ist uns eine Freude, Menschen in unserem Haus willkommen zu heißen und unsere Liebe zu Skye zu teilen the main house Abhaig, this luxurious Cabin

On one level, Am Bothan Dubh offers an elegant "larger than most" sleep & living space with

stylish boutique interiors.  Its view from the oversized picture window will have you captivated. 

The King bed (from which you can gaze at that view!) is high comfort with fine cottons and warm duvets

Vivienne & SteveCotton waffle robes, slippers, hairdryer, drinking water are provided. 

Help yourselves to the luxury coffee & tea selection and enjoy Vivs home-made sweet treats!

 

When you're not looking at the view, star gazing or lucky to see the Aurora Borealis, there's

Smart Samsung TV and a Marshall Amp speaker to keep you entertained.  We supply books & maps to

help tempt you to explore all areas of Skye.

Tucked away behind the main space is the perfectly formed shower room with large walk-in

drench shower, WC, wash-hand basin, heated floor and fluffy towels warming on a rail. 

Enjoy luxury Vegan/Organic & Scottish bathing & hair products by Siabann.  Our rooms are serviced daily, keeping them welcoming for when you return each day.

Breakfast all done for you!  Just a few steps away and over to the main house dining room, come and enjoy

a hearty two course breakfast each morning,  plus we are more than happy to share our extensive local

knowledge with you to get the best from your Skye days.

Abhaig Garden View Room - Sleeps 2 max

In the Main House we offer a spacious King bedroom overlooking our island garden.  

Expect a welcoming traditional B&B room which is in keeping with the house style of its era,

but with high quality interiors and all the thoughtful touches suitable for todays active visitor.

This room has full private facilities but is not en-suite. 

​

We like all guests to be aware that there are stairs, the facilities are private for that room, luxurious

& spacious. The private Shower/WC is on the lower floor and the bedroom on the upper. This room is best

suited for fully mobile active travellers not minding about the split level set-up.

​

Have a restful nights sleep in the super comfy king bed made with fine cotton sheets

and warm duvets to suit the seasons.  Waffle robes, slippers, hairdryer,

drinking water, USB Charging Hub are provided and your rooms are fully serviced daily, like new!

You will have use of the dining room/snug during the evenings too and can enjoy TV viewing, hot drinks and holiday planning! Relax and enjoy our highland home.
